The Bohemian-American cookbook is a direct translation of an original Czechoslovakian book printed in 1906 by Marie Rosicky. The rights to this book were purchased in the 1940's. Our family printing business has owned and handled these cookbooks since then. The cookbook retains the original translation of Marie Rosicky's recipes. Reading them is like discovering a shoe box in the attic - full of great-grandmothers favorites. The book features many fresh game and fish recipes as well as over thirty recipes for different kinds of dumplings. It's like opening a time capsule to the days before modern supermarkets and appliances.
